Scope Inspections on a different scale

Brand strategy · Visual identity · Messaging · Web · 2026
Scope makes AI-native inspection software that removes the manual reporting eating most of an inspector's day. I ran the identity end to end and delivered the full system, now live.
The idea is leverage. Fewer people, the same standard, more done. The whole system is built on the relationship between a small input and a large output, and everything else follows from that.

Scale in the name

Scale is written into the name as an exponent rather than illustrated around it. Raising the X off the baseline also gives the wordmark an asymmetry it wouldn't otherwise have, so the name stays a name and the position does the work.

A system built on ratio

One small form against one large sets proportions across the system, so layouts inherit the same relationship the mark is describing. The idea holds at any scale, from a favicon to a page.

In use

A design becomes an identity through use, once it's applied widely and consistently enough to be recognised on its own.
